Dear Amazon Readers:I began writing these books when my daughter was five. I suppose to her, they had been just part of Mommy's job. There are many lessons that a parent tries to teach her child— appear both methods before crossing the street, don't eat a big bag of potato chips ten minutes before dinner, wash behind your ears, and so on. My daughter did not read my initial or my second or even my third Just Grace book. I never asked her to study them, and I did not study them to her. These varieties of lessons are a lot more tough to understand. With all these thoughts in my head, I started writing the Just Grace books. My hope was that 1 day my daughter would study these books and decide that she liked Grace, and that an independent, confident, creative girl was a excellent thing to be. And then there are other types of lessons, things like stand up for yourself, don't worry what everyone else thinks, be optimistic, etc. She saw copies of these books all over the house, but for some reason they did not interest her.

One night while I was in bed, I heard some noise coming from her area. As soon as I walked into her room, I knew what she was up to. It was one a. m. , and there she was using a book and a flashlight reading below the covers. So for reading beneath the covers at night, I say,"Thank you, Ivy! I was about to acquire mad, and then I saw the book. I don't believe I could have even imagined a better way to find her reading my books. It was such a compliment. She had already read the very first one specific."It was the second Just Grace book! I got up to investigate.
